Life inside the trenches for this young boys was a very tough life to live.  There was hunger and thirst always naging at them.  There were also many unsanitary things, likes the dirt everywhere and all of the rats.  But all of these men bravely fought through all the tough things to come through for our country.  These men would stay in little holes dug out of the side of th trenches and stay in them for days upon days at a time.  There were no bathrooms or toilets at all.  They had to just go in the corner or just in a little bucket.  There was alot of mental upset, many of the men went crazy from all of the things that that had to endure.  It was truley a very tought time for these men and I am very gratefull that they fought for us.
